Deep Roots

Eric Plebani is a self taught mechanic / fabricator / tuner who has a traditional Art school background, attaining a Degree in Computer Design and Animation. His passion was all things automotive so he ditched his cubical career and pursued professional motor sports with zero formal training.

Using his creative talents and some outside the box innovation he was able to conjure up and put to use some of the most successful combinations in the automotive and racing world.

As a teenager, he combined the RWD Platform of the Chrysler Conquest / Mitsubishi Starion (sourced from a junkyard) and motor swapped it with the bulletproof 4G63 Mitsubishi turbo 2.0 engine. The vehicle ran 9.54 in the 1/4 mile back in 2000. Successfully campaigning this winning combo in the heyday of Import Drag Racing.

In his early 20’s he constructed a 300 horsepower 4x4 MightyMax pickup that was swapped with the 4G63 Mitsubishi turbo 2.0 engine. This creation terrorized the streets and hurt feelings of many sports car owners. This was the first “Featured Vehicle” on the Teckademics Mischief DVD series.

Ultimately combining the legendary Porsche 911 rear engine chassis and Porsche drivetrain to the high revving bullet proof 4G63 Mitsubishi turbo engine. The vehicle still gets attention to this day. The vehicle was completed in 2000 and featured in Turbo Magazine in 2002. Road and Track did a write up as well.
